NISSAN TD42T/Ti ARP Cylinder Head Stud Set Cylinder head stud, washer and nut set by ARP to suit Nissan TD42 series. There are nineteen (19) studs at 135 mm long, seven (7) studs at 130 mm long and 26 washers and nuts to suit. These studs will help gain the increased head clamping required in performance applications. They will achieve a more evenly distributed and accurate torque load compared to that of head bolts by eliminating the twisting force created during tightening. This ultimately translates into higher reliability and a lower chance of head gasket failure. Note: Depending on how much material has been removed from the block and head when surfacing them and what grade head gasket is used, it may be necessary to remove some material from the underside of the end two aluminium rocker shaft posts to provide clearance to the tops of the end studs. This is best done in a milling machine and you can safely remove up to 3.5 mm if required. (ARP brand - made in USA) Our part number: ARP-NZA-TD42
