The ultimate flexible cooling control. The Davies Craig #0445 Digital Thermatic® Fan Switch offers smart, digital control with added installation versatility. This kit includes a 1/4" NPT threaded thermal sensor, allowing you to choose between measuring air temperature (via radiator probe) or direct coolant temperature for maximum precision.

Choosing the Right Model

All Davies Craig digital switches offer the same precision cooling, but they differ in how they connect to your engine:

  • #0444: Includes the Standard Temperature Probe only (for air sensing).
  • #0445: Includes Standard Probe + 1/4" NPT Thermal Sensor (best for coolant ports with 1/4" threads).
  • #0448: Includes Standard Probe + 1/8" NPT Thermal Sensor (best for coolant ports with 1/8" threads).

Need to install a threaded sensor into a hose? You can use the #0409 Temperature Sensor Adaptor Kit with the #0445 or #0448.

12V & 24V Compatibility

This unit is supplied configured for 12V systems as standard. If you are operating a 24V system, you must change the included relays to 24V relays prior to installation. Failure to do so may result in damage to the unit or vehicle electronics.
